We may be approaching the for the Avengers, but hopefully, that won’t stop them guys from giving each other hell online. Some of the members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe can be the most entertaining to follow on Twitter and that only becomes truer when they interact with each other. Recently, Chris Evans used the social media platform to vent about some technical issues he was having that many of us can probably relate to pretty easily.
It seems that ol’ Captain America is taking issue with modern technology, as one or more of his “smart” devices are not working properly. He uses Twitter to show his anger, as many of us do in similar times.
To be fair, Evans isn’t exactly wrong here. While technology is supposed to make all of our lives easier, it frequently only makes things more complicated. While it’s great to be able to have your thermostat, TV, and refrigerator all accessible on your smartphone, we now have to deal with the fact that your light bulbs now sometimes require a firmware update. This wasn’t a thing that we needed to do before. You used to flip a switch and they came on.
However, Chris Evans’ Marvel co-star Robert Downey Jr. assumes that Evans is simply having difficulty making his technology work properly, and since he plays a scientist in the movies, Downey offers to come to the aid of his friend.
Of course, he’s not really offering to help so much as giving Chris Evans crap for whatever tech issue he’s currently having.
Tony Stark offers to help Captain America figure out his technology. After all, the problem is probably nothing more than Steve Rogers trying to get his head around modern tech when he grew up in the 1930s, right?
Robert Downey Jr. also tags Mark Ruffalo in on the conversation, who is more than willing to help out as well, and also remind Cap to watch his mouth, a hilarious callback to , where this time Captain America is the one ready to swear.
As of this moment, Chris Evans has yet to respond, so it’s unclear if Robert Downy Jr. and Mark Ruffalo are currently over at his house showing him how to access Netflix on his new TV or whatever.
